Covington Links Golf Course is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in South Sioux City, Nebraska.
Covington Links Golf Course first opened for play in 1977. The course was designed by Marty Johnson.
Four holes border the Missouri River. Ponds come into play on nine holes.
The course has narrow, tree-lined fairways and extremely large greens. Towering cottonwoods and a variety of other trees, including willows, Russian olives, ash, and evergreens line the fairways.
One of the most difficult holes is the lengthy 16th. With a perfect drive, you are left with a long approach shot around a cottonwood that overhangs the right side of the fairway.
A fun aspect of the course is its unorthodox arrangement with four par 5's on the front nine.
Black tees: par-71, 6,291 yards
Blue tees: par-71, 5,977 yards
White tees: par-71, 5,591 yards
Red tees: par-71, 5,263 yards
